Joey, Jordan & I spend a lot of time hanging out at the Grain Bin cafe & Store! We love sitting outside and listening to music on Friday nights. Dax Harboth's mom, Tammy, owns the store & her husband Darrell works with me at Navarro. Aren't these two cute?

My Mom and I love swimming, tubing, and pretty much anything that involves water. We had been patiently waiting to take Jordan until she was old enough & we thought she would have fun. She was not too sure at first, but got used to the water and discovered how fun it was to splash! It was a great time with Jordan at a place I loved to go to as a child!

Hello everyone! I have not posted in a while...we have been busy! We bowl on Wednesday nights. It is 9 pin and great fun! School is amazing! I love having my own classroom and teaching math. We have a ton of together...we make it fun! I play music, use technology, have an iPAD, iPODS, and play ton of games. Joey is back in school for his last school year. He has Thesis Prep and Thesis next semester. I am so proud of him! He is amazing. Jordan is amazing. She is crawling everywhere! Yikes! She is doing well and having fun being a baby exploring everything.

Ear Infection .... ouch:(

Well, the dreaded day has finally come. Jordan has her first ear infection. She has handled it well and only been a little fussy compared to what she could have been! She is feeling better already and I hope this will not be an ongoing thing with her. Hope everyone has a blessed week.

6 month check-up

I always carry way to much stuff with me and I am trying to only take what is necessary. I took my purse in because it everything I needed except a toy. We did not wait long. We read books and looked at the awesome room, but the best was playing with the paper. She loved it!
Dr. Owens you are great. Thank you for taking great care of me.


Today, Jordan had her 6 month appointment with Dr. Owens. I always forget to take pictures but I was ready for this trip! She is doing great! She is a good patient even when it hurts. She did calm down after her shots as soon as I held her. When she turned around and saw the nurse she started crying again :( I have to turn my head so I do not see the shot, other than that I am fine which is great for me. I was so excited to not have had to go to the office in between the 4 month and 6 month check up appointments. Jordan has been healthy and doing wonderfully.

New Beginnings

Today's Reflections...

Jordan turned 6 months old today and I can not believe it. Where does the time go? She is sweet and funny. She loves pears, reading books, and playing with her friends at Mrs. Nina's house. We are blessed to have a wonderful place for her to be while I am at work.

I start school tomorrow. Well really I never left, but that is a whole story in itself and we will not go into that. I am looking forward to new beginnings this year at school. I will be teaching 8th grade math. I am ready for the change. I will miss being in the learning lab with Karen & Cynthia but will still see them everyday! I love Ella who will be taking my place, so that makes me feel better!

This summer has been a bit rough but great at the same time. We have had a ton of visitors and that was fun to say the least. Ryan & Chrissie got married so welcoming a new family member is a blessing. Jillian has been here and we have a great time no matter what we are doing. She helped with Jordan's Dr appointments and the wedding. Diana has been here all summer working at Schlitterbahn. We are all going to miss her when she is gone. Aunt Rosemary, Lauren, & Hayden have been around and are so much fun! I love having family here. Justin, Brianna, Leslie, & Jerod were here today.

I feel as though I did not get to be with everyone as much as I would have liked, but just because school starts does not mean that I will disappear. I better get to bed and rest before tomorrow.
