Christmas Pictures 2011

Memaw - my sweet Grandmother

December 1, 2011

We miss you Memaw & I love you with all my heart. Today was the day we said good bye to my beloved grandmother. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her family & friends that have gone to be with the Lord before her. Thank you for all the thoughts & prayers during this time. She was an amazing grandmother & I cherish many memories with her. As I reflect on the holidays of my childhood I smile as I think of her cookies, fruit cakes, and my grandfather playing Christmas music on his piano. Great times we spent together as a family!

November & December 2011

November 2011 -

What is more fun then playing in deer corn? Playing in deer corn with rain water! Jordan loved this and it provided her with pure entertainment for the morning.

Her first haircut & she was fabulous. She loved her treat & quietly ate her Cheetos while De Dee cut her hair.

Jordan was an excellent help putting up the Christmas decorations. She was excited to see the lights when I plugged it in.

Artists after creating a masterpiece!

Jordan's first visit to the dentist. She was not real excited about this adventure.

Excuse me , you want me to do what?

She showed them how to brush her teeth. Dr. Barber was great and fast. She screamed and he did what he needed to while her mouth was wide open :)

Fun times with Havel & Hazel! These girls love each other & play well together! Peek a boo!

Notice Jordan crawling through the hole in the tree - Haven did not seem to mind.

The faces Jordan makes are priceless & can be a bit much at times. It is hilarious. Bye Mom, I have to go play with my friends.

December 2011

Waisslefest - New Braunfels 2011

Rebecca & Daniel toast to a fun night with family.

Aunt Alexis & Jani experiencing it for the first time. Love that the town still comes together for an event like this.

Daniel & Ryan were great fun & entertaining.

SURPRISE! We got to take Allison to her surprise 40th Birthday party!

My sweet helper - she loves helping me do things, even chores.

Notice she is standing on the bucket of homemade laundry detergent. It has lasted at least 2 months already and costs hardly nothing to make.

In case you would like to make some - here ya go!

5 gal. bucket (which can be bought in paint dept w/lid for about $5)
1/2c. borox
1 c. washing soda
1 bar zote--grated (is easier to grate than cheese!)

melt the zote on stove with about 2 qts. water. stir slowly.
when melted, add other two ingredients
pour into bucket and add enough water to fill. stir. sit overnight. will be thick and gooey. stir again.

use 1/2c. (or a little more for real stinky stuff). about 3/4 c. vinegar in rinse water (put where fabric softener goes.). I have some fabric softer sheets still so I have still been using those. I have friends who use the vinegar and love it.

Jordan likes to take her socks off and put them on her hand. She is very talented and can pick up her toys and play all while keeping on a sock. She put her "purse" on full of bows and starting waving & saying bye bye.

Lunch at the Gristmill with my fabulous Premier Girlfriends. It is a blessing to have wonderful women in my life.

My Premier grandma Julie & Mom Diane. They are super sweet and extremely supportive. Thanks for all your encouragement ladies!

Got to love Santa's Ranch. God blessed with a free season pass thanks to a friend from high school working the gate. I love his blessings and how he always provides even the little surprises.

We took Jordan to a Country Christmas close to the house. She had not been feeling well and we thought it would be a nice treat to get out of the house. She enjoyed seeing the animals & the hay ride!

Jordan is constantly saying Horse and pointing, but she was not too fond of the real donkey.

The original Navarro School House.

Jordan's first hayride! She loved it & wanted to go again. She did not want to get off the John Deere. She is a country already.

Dinner & Christmas with Friends

Emily loved her new pj's!

Ashton was excited about comfy camo pants!

Sweet Allison kept saying - "wow"

Absolutely love that we still get together. Life long friends that I love!
