Monday February 15th ... Welcoming Baby Kammerer

Today I got a call from Samantha, the nurse at my Dr.'s office, and she said we are going to move you to be induced on Monday the 15th. I asked if there was any reason in particular and she said no that Dr. Geldernick thinks it would be better. I am excited to meet this new baby and find out if it is Joseph Patrick or Jordan Lynn! February 15, 2008 is the day Joey proposed to me so I am thrilled! Hopefully the baby comes before midnight! We will keep everyone informed! Thank you for all the prayers and support. We are blessed to have great friends and family.

Baby Shower

This past weekend, Nicole, J'aime, Amy, Julie, Amber and Susie all helped throw me a shower. It was awesome! They are such great friends. Thank you to everyone who came. The gifts are much appreciated and I can not wait for everyone to meet our newest addition to the family. Victor, Lisa, Cara, MiMi, PaPa and Melody joined in on the fun.

Baby Kammerer Update

I went to the Dr. today and the baby is doing great! My blood pressure was still high. They ran tests to check my kidneys and I will get the results by Wednesday. As long as nothing comes back abnormal, the plan is to induce me on Tuesday the 16th. I go back to the Dr. on Thursday morning and Monday morning to check up and make sure nothing is looking suspicious. I will keep you updated as to how things are progressing. Pray for a safe delivery and happy baby. I will be 38 weeks and 3 days on the 16th. Hope everyone has a great week.

Bed Rest

Yesterday, I went to the Dr. for my weekly check up and my bottom blood pressure number was too high. I went to labor and delivery in the hospital to get monitored and everything with the baby...heart rate and movement...was wonderful. My blood pressure stayed about the same and went up a little. The blood work came back good so the high blood pressure is not affecting anything else. I am on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy and the plan as of now is to deliver around 38 weeks. I go to the Dr this coming week on Monday and Thursday. They will monitor the baby for 20 minutes and run various tests. If anything comes back out of the norm then I will be induced. I will be learning to be still and hang out for sure. I have permission to go to my showers so that is good news. Hope everyone has a great week.

Like Mother, Like Child...

As many of you know at our last sonogram the baby was sticking out it's tongue at us multiple times. Then, one of the pictures looks like we are getting a not so nice gesture from the baby. Well..as it turns out, I was caught doing the same thing. I know it is hard to believe I would do something of that sort but the pictures do not lie.
