Ryan and Chrissie's rehearsal went well. It is always great to spend a weekend with family celebrating the new adventures life can bring. Jordan was adorable and let everyone love on her. Of course, I can not go to wedding without reminiscing about my own and thinking of Rachel. She was awesome and will remain in my heart forever. She wore a similar dress to my rehearsal and every time I see Jordan in this dress I smile and shed a tear at the same time....miss you sweet angel.

Flood of June 9th, 2010

These are pictures taken down the road we live on. This is how I normally get to work everyday!

This is the road you take to get to our house. As you can see there was no traffic traveling on this fine morning.

I was attending a workshop at Canyon Lake the week of the flood. I was gone before the rain hit our house. Joey tried to go to work in New Braunfels and quickly discovered he could not get there. My parents backyard started flooding and water was trying to creep in the backdoor. Mom had to put the dog inside open up the gate and knock boards down on the other side to allow the water to run into the street. This is the 3rd major flood since 1998.

Architecture

Joey designed this public restroom and now it is completed. He will have to get on here and give you the details.....I just wanted to show off how talented he is and brag that he has one year left of school. He only has 2 classes but they have to be taken back to back. I love him and am proud of his accomplishments!
