Life!

Here is an update on our family.....it has been too long since I actually posted details about us.

First I will start with Joey! He is a remarkable husband and father. I could not do this whole mom thing without him by my side. He has his thesis class this semester. He graduates in May with his masters degree & I could not be more proud. He is working in New Braunfels at Dibello Architects. He loves his job and we are thankful for Dale, his boss who is a wonderful Christian man that Joey enjoys working for each day. A huge blessing to us! :)

Jordan is a joy to have as a daughter! She will turn 1 year old on February 15th. I can not believe it will be a year already. She has discovered many new things lately. She is looking at books and turning the pages without eating them. She has even started to mumble while she looks at the books. It is really sweet. She can say mama, dada, nana, nina, tex & chica. Her favorite thing to do id to dump out her cheerios all over the floor. She can crawl extremely quickly and walk along our furniture. I could go on an on about our little joy!

Then there's me....oh my where to begin?!?!? I am enjoying teaching math. It is fun and challenging. I am keeping it fun and use all of my technology. I am handling being a mom much better. I am no where near perfect or have all the answers, I am just at peace with my role as a mom. I miss Jordan terribly while I am at school. This has become extremely difficult to handle lately. I am really trying to learn to simplify! Yes, I know....adhd Jenny simplify-yeah right- but it is working and I am noticing a calmer me. I am loving where we live more and more. I am excited about the future and possibly adding on here. Bottom line is that I am doing much better! I continue to pray for guidance, health, safety & happiness.

I thought it was time to really use the blog as an outlet. I enjoy reading other blogs & wanted to do more with ours. I hope you have enjoyed the update. It is fun the look at the past week and reflect as a way to start the new week.

  2. I use blogging as my outlet. i don't get that much "off" time and so all the little things that could and do mean something, i feel, i need to tell the world, as random and super cute and retarded as they may be sometimes. I know nobody ever really reads it but maybe its validation to myself that i do still have opinions and things to say or what not but it makes me feel good, whether its good things i have to say or bad.

Love reading your blog and the pictures from all your day to day adventures! keep em' coming momma!
