I'm Back!

I am just ecstatic to be back on the blog and get everything going again! I am just full of joy right now for all of the good things the Lord has done and continues to do in my life!

We are doing super! I am back to feeling "normal" again & loving being home with Jordan. It did take an adjustment but we are on a routine & loving the time together. She has grown so much since the last pictures I posted. She is talking & communicating more and more each day! She will wake up and say "shoe - shoe outside" Then she will bring me my shoes and hers then head to the door. She loves playing outside with "hica" Chica & Tex love her to be with them too.

I am blessed with an amazing jewelry business. I absolutely love working with Premier Designs Jewelry. God has gone above and beyond to bless this business in my life. The tutoring in going wonderfully as well. I love working with Amy Littleton & all the fabulous families. Ahhhh life is grand.

I have learned to lean on God for strength & guidance each day. All needs we have had emotionally, physically, & financially he has met. I could go on and on about the Glory of the Lord.

Joey is doing well. He has had an adjustment to life after college. He is a fantastic father & wonderful husband! I am blessed to have him in my life. It is great to spend time with him & Jordan.

Jordan loves Toy Story 3 and her favorite character is "Bo - ni" Bonnie (the little girl who gets the toys from Andy at the end of the movie) She says "beepo beepo" (pretend microwave noises). This was the perfect costume for Jordan because it required regular clothes and nothing too tight or fluffy. Jordan loves comfortable clothes & shoes!

Jordan's new favorite song is - If your happy and you know it! She claps, stomps her feet, twirls in a circle and says Amen!

Be Blessed!

New Beginnings

Tomorrow is the last day I will be employed at Navarro. It is going to be bittersweet. I have made many fond memories there and enjoyed having an awesome staff to work with everyday. The kids were great and I will miss this group I worked with this year. I am excited to start a new chapter in life. It is an amazing feeling when God answers prayers and opens opportunities to live your dream. I am excited to be able to be a working - stay at home - mom! I am thrilled to be with Jordan and watch her grow. I have had a hard time with postpartum and feel blessed to say I am no longer on the medicine any more and feel healed from the illness. I have been praying for a while about a part time job since Joey will be working full time. God answered my prayers and I will be tutoring in New Braunfels and selling Premier Jewelry. I could not be happier with my new career paths. There is nothing more exciting to me than to be done with the day in and day out stress of teaching. I would come home worn out and without any patience for anyone. This was tiring on me and the rest of the family. When God answered the prayer about a new path, I felt a ton of bricks off my shoulders.

I am excited to be able to get back to the things I enjoy doing....creating, taking pictures, scrap booking, blogging, etc. I must admit I am ready for some craft time with Jordan. I want finger paints, water colors, crayons, paper, and stickers! I could go on forever!

Here's to new beginnings :)

Spring 2011

Man oh man where to begin......I am ready to be able to update the blog and get back to being me! I feel like I missed out on too much while working this past year. I am extremely thankful for God's plan to allow to work part time and be home with Jordan. I am thrilled to think of all the fun stuff we will get into at the house together. I am excited about the summer and swimming. Jordan loves the water and can even kick on her tummy and back. Here is a glimpse into what we have done in April & May 2011.

Toy Story 3 on Ice! Our sweet friends the Davidson's invited us to go to see Toy Story on Ice and you know I was all over that. Jordan loves Toy Story. She loved it on ice as well. The entire time she was laughing, dancing, smiling, and pointing at everything she saw. I am pretty sure she could not believe it! It was a blast!

Jordan was not too sure about her first pony ride.

Jordan ready to hunt Easter eggs with her friends at Nina's house. She was not thrilled to get up this particular morning :(

I am normally pretty good about not crying when I drop her off in the morning, but this was an exception. I was missing her first little celebration that she would participate in. I asked Nina to take some pictures and of course she did not mind at all. Jordan had a great time hunting eggs. When we came home she even got into the good stuff before I realized what she was doing.

Easter Morning before church! Love her facial expressions!

Joey earned his mater's degree! We are extremely proud of all his accomplishments! We love you Daddy!

10 years in college called for a huge celebration! Thank you to all of our family and friends that supported us over the years. We could not have done it with out your love and support.

Going to the chapel and were going to get married......

Justin and Brianna sealed their vows and we were there to help them celebrate!

Jordan loved the hotel phone. She immediately picked up the phone and started saying ...hello...hello :)

Kaden and Jordan practicing walking down the isle!

Congratulations!

April 14th Update!

Sorry, I have not posted on the blog in a long time. There are fun and exciting things happening in our life and I could not be more thrilled. I am wrapping up teaching for the school year. 36 more days, but who is counting?!?! I am going to be staying at home and working part time. I am missing Jordan and really looking forward to spending more time with her. I am excited about my new career paths. I will still be working with children as a math tutor in New Braunfels at Tutoring by Amy Littleton. I am thankful that God placed Amy in my life and she is allowing me to join in with her business. I am selling Premier Jewelry as another way to make some "fun" money. It is going well and I love having a girls night out where I actually make money. Joey has his final presentation and thesis due on April 30th. He is stressed but realizes the end is near. I am proud of him for sticking with it and getting his Masters Degree. Jordan is growing like crazy. She is understanding more and more each day. She is definitely a bit of a drama queen in some areas but that is to be expected. She is talking away. She is always trying to copy what we say. It is funny to hear how she expresses herself. She is walking everywhere and loves her toys, especially her "babies" and she can say that perfectly clear. She continues to amaze me each and everyday with how sweet and loving she is with Joey and I.

Update - 2/27/11

This weekend was full of fun and crazy times! We started off by celebrating Amy's Birthday at the Phoenix Saloon. It is a great place to hang out and has amazing music! The next morning, we went to Emily's Birthday Party at the Children's Museum. Jordan enjoyed playing and being a "big girl". She sat at the table with the other kids and ate lunch & cake! She is growing up way too fast! Sunday was a lazy day. Joey is feeling better but not 100% yet. Jordan and I played outside. She enjoyed being on her slide because she could see the dogs and pet them but not be smothered. She walked a long way by just holding on to my finger. It was fun to see her explore.

She can walk when she wants to, but her she decided to just freeze and watch the other kids!
Happy Birthday Emily! Jordan was loving outside. It was a beautiful day! She actually kept her hat on. I decided to start having her wear one so she gets used to it and no sunburn!
Camo & pink...what more could a cute country girl ask for?!?!?
