The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was breath taking. Seeing our students place a wreath was awesome.

It was crazy to sit where amazing people have at in the ampitheater of the cemectery.

A politician appeared as well.......Paloski.

The White House!

The Vietnam Wall.

The Pandas ate the whole time we were there!

The Air and Space Museum was very cool!

Joey loved the air simulator!

On the ride home, before we took off, I was able to sit as the co-pilot and learn how the controls work.

Sister Mary Matthew

Everyone enjoyed a great dinner when we arrived on Tuesday.

If my students think I am strict...they should have had Sister!

We ordered Sister a Shamrock Bouquet. It was beautiful.

My Uncle Matt, Patrick, Michael and Dad were great.

The entire family that was present to celebrate Sister's life. She will be missed dearly.

Me and my great aunt Dorothy.
Sister Mary Matthew's principal was the priest at the mass. He spoke very highly of Sister and told stories her students told of her. I hope at my funeral my Principal can say such honorable things about me.

Michael and Uncle Matt spoke about their memories of Sister.
Father Camp checked out Sister Mary Matthew for the last time.

Happy Birthday Mel

Despite the negative things of the weekend, Melody had time to open a birthday present. Hope you like it Mel. Just what she needed. Another cross for her colection on the living room wall.
Rick looks at the Willow Tree and asks if it grows when you add water. Not that kind of WIllow Tree Rick...come on now. Melody liked her new Willow Tree.... Healing Grace.

The bag was hilarious as well.

The Kammerer Side of the Fmaily

Sandy, Katt, Randy and Rick all got together today to visit Grandma Cotton. Sandy and Katt are from the Houston area and Randy came from Irving.

Rick uses Katt's glasses in order to see his phone.

Randy lets his hair down.

Rick and Katt are enjoying their visit and the yummy food at Clear Springs.

Rick and Melody enjoy the visit.

Fun with the Dogs

Yesterday and Today, Bella came to visit while Rick and Melody are tending to Grandma Cotton.

To the left is Bella smiling for the camera just like her sister Chica. Below, Tex poses for the camera.

Tex and Chica look thrilled to have another picture taken. All three dogs were still on the porch. A sight not seen very often.
