Jordan actually slept from midnight til 6 am on Friday night. She slpet with me in the bed and I had pillows surrounding her. She was so cute and kept rolling towards me! I just love her! Isn't she angelic?

We came home and went to see Dr. Bernardy to follow up. She agreed with Dr. McGrann in Houston and sent us on our way. We went to Lauren & Madeline's birthday party. Italia is only a few days earlier than Jordan. They are so sweet together.

I had Jordan in her swim suit and cover up just in case she wanting to "swim" with the big kids.

Doesn't she look older in this picture? I kept thinking...she is not a newborn anymore.

I let her dip her feet in and she was not a fan. It was really cold, so I am sure when it gets hot she will love it!

Congratulations Jilllian!

On May 7th, Jillian officially was pinned a Dental Hygienist! How exciting for her to be ready to start her career. She was awarded numerous awards including my personal favorite....the Golden Scaler! It was an honor to be there to help her celebrate. Congratulations Jillian! You will do great!

MiMi & PaPa Love Jordan

After the Dr. appointment, Jordan was able to stay with family while I went to Jillian's Pinning Ceremony. MiMi, PaPa, Melody, Cara, & Jimmy had fun even though she was a fussy pot!

Thursday Night, May 6th

Jordan did not sleep after about 11 pm until 3 am. She felt hot and when I took her temperature it was 102.1. I decided to give her Tylenol and see if that helped the fever. Her fever went down quickly, she just would not sleep. It was a nightmare. She would relax and snooze about 5 minutes and then she would start screaming. She finally crashed and did not wake up when I sat down around 3am. She slept til 6am. I went outside with her after she ate at 6am. That helped tremendously since she loves being outside anyways. When the pediatricians office opened, I immediately called and was told to get to an ER quickly. Jillian's friend Amy, works at a pediatric office in Houston and was able to get Jordan seen at the Dr. office instead of the ER. Thank you Amy for your help. I owe you big time! She saw Dr. McGrann who is an absolute sweetheart and wonderful doctor. She was a super fantastic patient again! Jordan does have a UTI. They took more urine and sent it off for 48 hours to be tested.

Jordan meets her Pearland Family

On May 6th, Melody, Jordan and I went to Pearland. We went to see Joey's side of teh family and attend Jillian's Dental Hygiene Pinning Ceremony. We had a great trip down and did not hit any traffic. Jordan was wonderful. She slept the entire trip.

Teacher of the Year - Navarro Jr High 2009-2010

I was honored as Teacher of the Year at the Seguin Chamber of Commerce Banquet. I am the 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year for Navarro Jr High. I was completely humbled to receive the award even though I was gone for 10 weeks on maternity leave. My co-teachers nomiated me and voted. I love working under the supervision of Mr. Morales my principal and with the staff. We have a tight bond between the staff and watch out for each other and stick together through the good and tough times.
Another amazing teacher and life long friend Mrs. Valaree Marbach was the Teacher of the Year for Navarro Elementary. She is an insipation to me and is a fabulous teacher. I have looked up to her for many years and was excited to know we were honored the same year! I made it through the Superintendent talking about me and honoring me without crying, but when I sat down and Valaree told me " I am proud of you." the water works started. God is truely amazing with his timing.

The 2nd ER Visit - April 29th

Jordan had a great day. I picked her up at 5pm and she had not thrown up all day. She ate great and took her naps. She is an easy baby for sure! We were home an hour and she started fussing. I picked her up to feed her and she was on fire. Her temperature was 101.38. I called the pediatricians office and they said to take her into the ER to test her blood and urine to check for an infection. She was great while we were there. Joey was in the room while they drew blood. He said it was a little rough but the nurses were great and waited til they saw a vein before they poked her. She had a catheter and there was no urine so we had to wait til she ate more before we could get urine to test. All of the tests ran were normal. They diagnosed her with a virus and sent us home with Tylenol. Due to her being so little, they get us back right away. We were there and back in 3 hours with a packed waiting room.

Here she is showing off her boo boo.
Jordan loves to raise her hands up in the air. She does it constantly. She must love to worship Jesus already!

Calling for HELP!

On April 28th, this was the first time I felt guilty leaving for work. Jordan made it through the night but got sick in the morning. Joey is miserable and so is Jordan. I can not take off the day of the math TAKS test, so Joey had to play super Dad. He took her to the doctor and took care of her until I got home at 11 am. When I left for work she was crying and it was so terribly hard to leave her.

Rick was so sweet and made Chicken Noodle Soup and he played with Jordan while we hung out and watched TV.

Night Night Sweet Jordan

Jordan came home and was doing great. Just a typical day in life of the Kammerer family. She was eating her last meal and then it happened...her first real throw up episode. It went all over the glider so I stood up and leaned her forward. Then, she kept getting sick about 5 more times and covered a good portion of the floor. Luckily, I have grown out of my phases of puking all the time and held my dinner inside of me. We called the Dr. to make sure we did not need to take any drastic measures and he said to watch her. Needless to say, she got to sleep in her bassinet in our room this night, April 27th. Joey went to the doctor today and got on some medicines for his illness. He got a major case of the crud.

Even when she feels bad, she is still so cute and making funny faces!

Rachel's Tree in Landa Park

The Bunco Babes had a tree planted in Landa Park along the route of the train in memory of Rachel. Jordan, Mom and I met Amy, Michael, Emily and Marissa in the park to show them where the tree was located. We took Jordan on her first train ride.

Mom found Jordan the perfect pair of sunglasses! They are just the right size and color.

Can you tell Jordan makes many faces? She does like to be outside and seemed to like the train ride.

She is so advanced for her age...she can wave already.
