Breathalyzer Test

No pictures of this....but it is a great story. I have a CDL drivers licence. (scary I know) On Friday at school there were random drug tests for those of us who are eligible to drive a bus. I got to take my first breathalyzer test! It was quite comical. It made my day. Kinda strange I know but how often can you say you had to blow at school for no reason other than randomness.

9 pin bowling - Zorn Bowling Alley

Diana and Joey got to not only eat burgers but also bowl Friday. Not many college kids can say they have been 9 pin bowling. It was great fun even though I did not participate.
Mom stayed for dinner and fun as well. Colten kept score since he had an amazing math teacher last year. Fancy score boards I know everyone in a big town should be jealous.

Yes, actual kids set the pins. No technology here...just good ole fashioned work ethic.

Diana Still Loveing Schlitterbahn

Diana and I have been going to Schlitterbahn together since she way almost 2. She would sit in the tubes that are covered all the way around with a pacifier in her mouth and go down the tube rides. At the end, she would say "My boat again!" The miracle of it all is that she did not loose the pacifier. She has loved Schlitterbahn ever since. We went this weekend while she was here visiting.
Hillside Tube Ride is awesome!

White Water fun!

The Baby Bump grew this weekend.

The new Congo River.

Oh No!

This will be my new hangout for the next few summers. The baby area.

It even has it's own car wash!
The famous tram.

Underwater picture that took about 20 tries.
Diana at another new hangout for the next few summers.
Blastenhoff adventures!

Schlitterbahn....bahn....bahn

The Fishbeck's, Jillian and Iwent to Schlitterbahn. We had fun for the 2 hours we were there. I did not realize it closed at 6pm in stead of 8pm. One last trip before school started.
Reed ...being Reed and having fun no matter where he is.

Rhyder and I hung out while Jennifer, Reed and Jillian floated the Congo River.

Kyle playing at Freiheit

Joey, Justin, Jillian and I went to Tim's graduation party and then carried the festivities over to Kyle's concert. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the music. I left early and was not feeling well at all.

Micheal is so photogenic.

Coushatta Casino Resort

The only camera we had at the casino was Jillian's that is dying is a slow death. The pictures are unusually awesome. Everyone had a great time! Justin has a new beer holder.

After 3 tries, everyone finally had a key that worked to get into the room.

Mom is ready to gamble!

The J an J taking pictures of themselves.

Joey pretending to play video games.

Outside the hotel....

Me, Joey, Jillian and Justin in front of the casino.

Welcome ladies....

Thanks Grammy, PaPa, Mom, Dad and Margaret for everything. We greatly appreciate it.

Our First Anniversary

August 9th was Joey & I's 1st anniversary. We decided to celebrate by going back to the Riverwalk where we got married and stay at the same hotel. It was so much fun to reminisce. We walked from the hotel to the Little Church at La Villita and were there at the exact time we were married. It was fun and weird to think that a year had already passed by...where the time goes I have no idea! The Fairmont Hotel has great themes in each room.
Here we are in the chapel dressed a little more casually than a last year.

I had Joey take a baby bump picture! A little far away, but I am starting to get a belly.

Joey enjoying the Riverwalk.

We took a rest from walking in the mall and of course I went to the purple store. Expensive though...

We rode the River Boat and learned a lot of history. I have lived in the area since I was 2 and I don't remember ever riding the boat, so it was fun to be a tourist.

After the boat ride and walking the Riverwalk, we went back to our room. When we got there the Cowboys bus was parked in front of the hotel. We did not see any of the players though.
The park was having the Salsa Competitoin and had some fun bands playing across the street. We hung out in the room and enjoyed the free concert!

It was great to spend the day together remebering our wedding. I actually got emotional in the church as we were praying and when we got home. I was surprised at myself because since I have been pregnant I have had no emotions, so I guess that is changing! Well, we are home and ready to face the upcoming school year.
