Rick's family from the Houston area came down for a visit. Rick, Melody, Sandy, and Katt enjoyed riding on their motorcycles while they were in the Hill Country! Katt and Sandy riding on their motorcycles.

We ran into Amber, Trevor and Ashton at the park. Amber and I used to ride the train when we were little. What a nice surprise.

Zeda loved the water! She had not been swimming before. It was great to see her have so much fun.
Michaela loves to swim as well. She stayed in the water even though it was freezing.



Joey got in and said it was way too cold for him.





While the guys were conversing over a camp fire, we watched Twilight. The latest teenage movie and book series.




Spring Break


After Washington DC, Joey, Dad, and I went to East Texas to relax. Taylor is in Karate in Longview. She was preparing for her red belt test while I was there.

We took Taylor to her first rodeo in Marshal. Clint was there helping a friend of his at his first rodeo!

DC

2 Einsteins...with Einstein.
The highlight of the trip was the surprise visit of Bill Cosby!




The flight there was smooth as can be. The kids were great!


Joey slept....no surprise there!



The first stop was the Capitol and Library of Congress. We met teh Librarian of Congress.


The Washington Monument was always amazing to see from many different views.



The only First Lady Memorial....of course 3 more great women stand by it.

Iposed with some of the characters from Mount Vernon. It blew me away to walk through George Washington's house!


The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was breath taking. Seeing our students place a wreath was awesome.







It was crazy to sit where amazing people have at in the ampitheater of the cemectery.
